When you open an opay account, you’re asked for your phone number, a 6-digit password, BVN and an ID, all these is to ensure you’re the one operating the account and to avoid identity theft.
After your account is created, you can always use your phone number and your 6-digit password to login, and in the case that you forget your password, you can easily reset it after getting an OTP to the phone number linked to the account.

1. Reach out to opay support team
If you lost your smartphone along with the SIM, try and contact opay support as soon as possible to lock your account in order to safeguard your funds and protect your account from unauthorized access.

If you cant reach out to Opay immediately, dial *955*131# using any phone avaliable to you to block debit transactions from happening on your account. you’ll be required to provide your account number as well as your Opay transaction PIN.
Note: I recommend you get in touch with Opay customer service team on either Twitter or Facebook and explain to them that you lost your SIM card, they may help you get it back without needing to retrieve the SIM card.
